Electrical safety
q The appliance may only be connected to a mains supply with a rating of 220 - 240 VAC, 50 Hz. Never
attempt to operate the appliance at a different voltage. The appliance must receive its supply via an RCD
(residual current device) with a rated trip current of no more than 30mA. The appliance must be connec-
ted to an earthed power outlet socket.
q Only connect the appliance to a properly installed and earthed mains power socket. The mains voltage

q The mains plug must not be connected until installation of the appliance has been properly completed.
q If the mains lead is defective or if the appliance shows any other signs of damage, it must not be put

q When unplugging the power supply from the mains, take hold of the plug – do not pull on the lead.

be quickly disconnected from the power supply if necessary.
